How we handle your information

This page explains how Dalian Lingwen Information Technology Co., Ltd. (“Lingwen”, “we”, “us”) processes information from visitors to our website and from people who contact us directly by phone or email.

Our principle is simple: collect as little as possible, keep as little as possible. This policy is a concrete version of that principle.

1. What this site collects

We do not automatically collect personal information from you through this website. Specifically:

  • This site does not offer account registration, login, comments or any web forms that send your input back to us.
  • Our outbound contact channels are phone (400-878-0630) and email (wk@lw-i.com, ll@lw-i.com). Information you proactively send through those channels — name, company, email, phone, project description, resume, etc. — is what we actually hold.
  • Our servers keep standard access logs (IP address, request time, path, user agent) for security auditing and troubleshooting. We do not use them for identification or targeted advertising. Access logs are retained for at most 90 days.

2. How we use that information

  • Business communication — responding to inquiries, solution discussions, recruiting and necessary follow-ups.
  • Security & reliability — detecting abnormal traffic, defending against attacks, diagnosing incidents.
  • Contract performance — delivering services and obligations to clients under signed agreements.

We do not use your contact information for marketing blasts, profiling, resale or any cross-context commercial use.

3. Who we share with

  • Unless required by law, by legitimate requests from judicial or regulatory authorities, or strictly necessary to perform a contract with you (in which case we will tell you in advance), we do not share your information with any third party.
  • We currently do not use third-party analytics or tracking tools (Google Analytics, Hotjar, pixel trackers, etc.). If that changes, we will update this policy and notify visitors on this page.
  • Infrastructure providers used to host the site and operate our email (cloud vendor, email provider) act as processors under data processing terms and may not use your data for any other purpose.

4. Your rights

You can contact us at wk@lw-i.com at any time to:

  • Ask what information we hold about you;
  • Ask us to correct or complete inaccurate information;
  • Ask us to delete information you have previously shared with us by email or phone;
  • Withdraw consent you previously gave for processing.

We will respond within 15 business days. Where a request conflicts with a contract or a statutory retention obligation, we will explain which parts we cannot act on and why. Residents of jurisdictions with specific rights (e.g. GDPR for the EU/UK, CCPA for California) may exercise those rights through the same email address.

5. Children’s information

This site is not intended for children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe we have inadvertently received information from a child, please tell us at wk@lw-i.com and we will delete it promptly.

6. Security

  • The site is served over HTTPS end-to-end;
  • Emails and call records you send us are stored in access-controlled company mailboxes and internal systems;
  • Only project staff access them on a “least privilege” basis, under confidentiality obligations.

If a security incident occurs, we will notify potentially affected individuals and the relevant regulators within a reasonable time, in line with applicable law.

7. International data transfers

Lingwen is based in China. If you contact us from outside China, your information will be transferred to and stored in our systems in China. By reaching out, you acknowledge this transfer. Where required, we will rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms under the applicable law.

8. Changes

We may update this policy to reflect legal or business changes. Material changes will be published prominently on this page, and the “Effective date” at the top will be updated. Your continued use of the site after changes means you have been informed of and accept the latest version.
