In January 2026 we released the beta of ShipDoc, our document-automation workbench for freight forwarders and trade-oriented SMEs.
An import/export shipment averages 5-10 core documents: B/L, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, insurance and more. Traditionally, multiple operators retype these by hand and reconcile them manually — error-prone and slow.
ShipDoc compresses that into four actions: upload files, auto-recognize, review exceptions, one-click output bundle. The system uses LLM + OCR to structure each document and cross-checks shipment-level fields (shipper, commodity, HS code, quantity, weight) across documents, flagging potential errors before the bundle is issued.
Beta prioritizes Chinese-English bilingual documents; Spanish and Portuguese for Latin American markets are on the roadmap.
Because many customers are data-sensitive, ShipDoc ships both a SaaS edition and an on-prem edition. Enterprises can run the full OCR and LLM stack on their own machines — documents never leave the intranet.
